Global Procurement is responsible for all direct and indirect spend at Bloomberg. We are a global team that takes pride in working with our internal clients, devising strategies and executing operational tactics based on the dynamic requirements of a fast pace state of the art business.
What's the Role?
Performance optimization team is a looking for a seasoned individual who has experience leading S2P transformational initiatives. This individual will be joining as the Business Transformation Lead reporting to Performance Optimization Team Lead. This role requires a passion for solving complex problems and generating cross-functional requirements, as well as the ability to develop & implement solutions. You will play a crucial role in maturing S2P capabilities but owning and delivering on key strategic initiatives. These initiatives will touch on all or some core tenants of initiative i.e Process, People, Policies and Technology and will require effective cross collaboration.
We'll Trust You To:
Lead and oversee the planning, execution, and monitoring of transformation initiatives, ensuring adherence to best practices, standards, and methodologies.
Lead effective workshops, kaizen events, business requirement gathering sessions to accelerate the process from Identification/ideation to implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions i.e. Procurement, Supplier Lifecycle Management, Accounts Payable, SAP Solutions/Engineering, Reporting etc. to advance S2P business strategy
Work in ambiguity to quickly be able to develop hypotheses and strategic observations to ground objectives and plans
Use advanced analytical skills and tools - to synthesize, summarize and gain insights and conclusions from vast amounts of often unstructured data
Provide support on non-initiative activities such as evaluating metrics for Monthly Business Reviews, Identifying pattern utilizing operational metrics etc.
You'll need to have:
10 -15 years professional experience in Procurement, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, and/or driving Transformation
Experience in developing roadmap through current state assessment leveraging data, capability maturity assessment, Benchmarking etc.
Experience in lean six-sigma, design thinking, business architecture
Experience in leading multiple cross functional initiatives from cradle to grave
High degree of problem solving and decision-making ability leveraging data
Expertise in the following areas but not limited to: finance transformation, system implementation, operations improvement, business process improvement
Experience in SAP tools such as S/4 HANA Finance, Ariba, Central Finance, Group reporting or SAC
Experience with evaluating and implementing technology solutions especially in S2P value stream
Exceptional skills in PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, Mural and preferably data visualization tools
We'd Love to See:
• Experience in large, global organizations and expansive procurement and accounts payable experience
